That was just what Hitch said. I don't believe that one bit. |

Freaking awesome game to watch, very happy for Miller, he was huge after that first period. Like watching the Blues play, hope they get Oshie back soon. |

Just when it looked like Bowmie was down for the count, he comes back and they score the game winner on the first shift. Awesome game. Hawks really had no business being in it that long.
That was the best performance I have ever seen by Pietrangelo, probably one of the best defensive games by any defenseman I've seen ever. He was playing so well he made Jackman look good in the second OT.

I woke the entire building when Steener scored.
This series is far from over but I feel so much better about things this morning.
Ryan Miller finally stepped up big time.
People say the hawks had no business being in that game, without Ryan Miller the blues would not have made it to OT.
Maxime Lapierre played his best game as a Blue period. PERIOD
My question is how hurt is Toews? He did not look good after that hit by Reaves. |

I was there, hell of a game. I didn't get home until 1am, but it was worth it. Tarasenko was a beast. He was blocking shots making hits and made our rush dangerous again. He is so important to this team and he is def 100%. Backes on the other hand definitely looks hurt and sluggish. I felt like between him and Ott that first line was slow as molasses with Steener being handcuffed. I say get Paajarvi on that line to give some speed until Oshie is back. Lappy was a beast too! Hell of a save! |

What a great game! When is Oshie due back? Glad Miller got it together. Now he'll be fine the rest of the way. |

*You all can be glad that I'm not the Coach - I would have started the second period with Elliot. Miller did not look good early. Looked great late.
*Fatty already said it - Pietrangelo's never played better. Tremendous game. Now if only he could hit the net with a shot. Any shot.
*Blues goalie with the highest save percentage: Max Lapiperre, one shot faced, 1.000%.
*Blue will have a hard time winning this series with two good lines and two fourth lines. They need Oshie back sooner than later.
*Blues HAD to win that game to make this a long series.
*A very hard working lunch pail effort last night. Reminiscent of Blues teams of days gone by.
*Who is a better goalie? Max Lapierre or Erik Johnson? Anybody see what EJ did last night?
*Blues played smart AND put a physical punishment on Chicago last night that should pay off down the road if they keep it up.
*Was anyone else not doubting for a second that the Blues were going to find a way to tie the game? I thought it would come for certain with Miller off, turns out he didn't have to skate off for the extra attacker.

I think Roy needs to sit in favor of Oshie. if he is healthy.
I dont know who sits for Berg if he is back.
I cant say Porter Crack or Reaves deserve to sit.
maybe Ott but I thought he played a decent allbeit slow game last ngiht. |

I don't about that.
I do know we didn't lose to the Bruins last year. |

You're delusional. If Q hadn't had the team go into protect the lead mode, the game goes the 'Hawks way. |

And the Bruins fans are still saying "what if" based on last year. It was one game, on the road. I'm sure the Hawks will deal with it. Let's not start shining the Cup just yet. |

Every team puts a physical punishment on the Hawks. Doesn't seem to bother them. |

I called Steen getting the 3OT goal last night. My brother asked as we were sitting there waiting for the first overtime who would win it. I said Morrow if it ends in 1 or 2 OTs, but that this was going into 3OT and Steen gets it then.

I wouldn't think it odd if he had.
Rooting for Blues for a friend who's been through a lot and is a huge Blues fan. He was in the building last night and I couldn't be happier. Even though I did have to give up and wait for morning to watch the third OT. |

I have also heard that he was cramping, which would lead you to assume he was dehydrated. But I still have my doubts. Hitch said it in the interview after slightly pausing, like he was trying to figure out what to say. Call me crazy, but I don't just believe what they say about injuries. Just the other day he said Tarasenko want ahead of schedule. And the schedule was to be evaluated after the 1st round or so.
Yet he was out there and was awesome. |

How many turnovers did The Schwartz create last night?! Been doing it all year but I love seeing it in the playoffs |

I kind of figured the pause was, is there a reason not to say this? No, you can't target a guy's hydration in the next game. Ok, I'll tell them so they'll think him ultraheroic and maybe give him a break if he's human for a game. |

Yeah, that makes sense. Maybe it is just the skeptic in me since they give everyone nothing concerning injuries in the playoffs. |

I can believe it. It is really easy to get dehydrated if you have not properly hydrated yourself 48 plus hours before hand. Add to that the extreme play and time playing.
But you have to be careful. If a guy drinks too much water you can have the opposite effect. The most likely ivs used would have the necessary salts. Then it takes about thrity plus minutes for actual results. |
